Hmm … Grew up in a small town in the Rockies … went to college and came close to a getting a couple of PhDs.  … Work as a scientist, but live as a poet and mystic.

All the old motivations for career and relationship now seem absurd and empty.  When my heart is open, compassion is the new motivation … when it is closed, the motivation evaporates.  I find it interesting how the old motivations built around fear and self-promotion had such persistence, but motivation that rests on moment-by-moment heart condition can be such a hit-and-miss thing.

I have joined Zaadz/Gaia to reach out to others whose interest is awakening.
